I loved this idea and the ROI forecasts as soon as I heard it, but thought it sounded to good to be true! We funded the solar via the properties existing mortgage and from the first invoice we are on the way to exceeding our income returns. And that’s in the middle of the Melbourne winter. We’ve already saved money on our electricity bill since the landlord had solar installed. This is the first home we’ve rented which has solar included and now it would be a must in any future rental property. The installation process was fine, the workmen were friendly and they came when it was convenient to us.
